Verbary — English vocabulary
Learn the English vocabulary that's actually used: nearly 9,000 words by CEFR level (A1–C2), with clear definitions, native-voice audio, practice games and smart review.

Inside the app.

Learn what's actually used
Many vocabulary apps teach random lists or words that almost never come up. There was no easy way to learn English by real frequency and level, with quality audio and review that actually makes the words stick.
Nearly 9,000 words, ordered and with audio
We built a native iPhone app with nearly 9,000 words ordered by frequency and CEFR level (A1–C2): clear definitions, real examples and native-voice audio for every word. With translations to Spanish, French and Portuguese (or an English-only mode), nine practice games —including pronunciation with your voice—, spaced repetition (SRS), a level journey and gamification with streaks, XP and achievements.
In testing; coming soon to the App Store
Verbary is in testing and will arrive on the App Store for iPhone very soon. Free with ads and a Pro (RevenueCat) with a timed exam, iCloud sync and no ads. No account, offline, with a word-of-the-day widget.
