Generic timers don't know pizza: they can't tell a 90-second Neapolitan from a deep dish, or that a home oven can't reach 800°F. What was missing was a timer that works out temperature and time by style, reminds you to rotate halfway and stays reliable in the background — while remaining a native, private and pleasant app.
A timer that understands baking
We built a native iOS app (SwiftUI, iOS 17+) that, once you pick the style, heat source and surface, works out temperature and time with honest adaptation when the oven can't reach the ideal, and runs a staged session: prep, preheat, an oven-ready stop, bake, a rotate reminder at the halfway point and rest. Background timing relies on local notifications, haptics and a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. We added recipes with a baker's-percentage dough calculator, a shopping list, tips and bake history that learns from your results.
In testing; soon on the App Store
Pizza Timer is in testing and will arrive very soon on the App Store for iPhone. The basic timer is fully functional and free; Pizza Timer PRO unlocks advanced ovens and surfaces, voice cues, adaptive learning and calibration, the full recipe library and custom dough formulas. Monthly, annual (with a 7-day trial) or a one-time lifetime purchase. No ads, no tracking.

Built in Swift with SwiftUI and local persistence via SwiftData, an on-screen timer with ActivityKit/WidgetKit (Live Activity and Dynamic Island), alerts with UserNotifications and monetization with StoreKit 2 through RevenueCat. Offline, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.
