Frequently asked questions
No sound is playing
Check that your phone isn't on silent and that the media volume is up. If you're in prank mode, remember some sounds require holding the button down to play.
How do I set a sound as a ringtone?
Open the sound's menu (the three-dot icon) and choose the ringtone or notification option. Android will ask for the needed permission the first time.
How do I mark a sound as a favorite?
Tap the heart icon on the sound. You'll then find it on the Favorites screen, reachable from the star at the top.
A sound is missing or one doesn't work
Write to us and tell us which sound. We add new sounds often and fix any that misbehave.
When is it coming to iPhone?
The iOS version is in testing and will arrive on the App Store very soon. In the meantime, the Android version is already available on Google Play.
How do I manage the ads?
Instant Sounds is free and supported by ads. In the EU you can change your advertising consent to see non-personalized ads.
