Contact
We usually reply within 1–2 business days. To speed things up, please tell us your iPhone or iPad model, your iOS version, the archive format (RAR, 7z, ZIP…) and a short description of what's happening.
Frequently asked questions
I can't open a RAR or 7z file
Check that the file downloaded fully and isn't damaged. If it's multi-volume, gather all parts (.part1, .part2…) in the same folder before extracting. If it's encrypted, the app will ask for the password.
The archive asks for a password and won't accept it
Passwords are case-sensitive. Type it carefully and check your keyboard language. If you don't know it, we can't recover it: the password is set by whoever created the archive.
Where do my extracted files go?
They're saved to the destination folder you choose (by default, inside the app or in Files). From the result screen you can tap “View Files” to open them.
Why can't I create a 7z or encrypted archive?
Creating 7z, AES encryption and splitting archives are Premium features. The free version creates ZIP and extracts every format.
I switched devices or reinstalled the app. How do I get Premium back?
Open Zip Extractor, go to the subscription screen and tap “Restore Purchases”. It restores as long as you use the same Apple ID you bought it with.
How do I remove ads or manage my subscription?
Premium removes the ads. You can manage or cancel the subscription in iOS Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. In the EU you can change your advertising consent in iOS Settings.
Are my files uploaded to the internet?
No. All extraction and compression happen on your device, offline. Your files are never uploaded to any server. See the Privacy Policy linked below.
