How does it get water out of the speaker?
It plays low-frequency sound routines that vibrate the speaker membrane, helping water droplets push out through the grille. It's the same idea used by some water-resistant devices.
Does it detect how much water there is?
No, and we don't pretend to. AquaSweep can't “detect” moisture or show a real water level, so it never invents numbers. You use your own ears with the Before / After comparison.
Is it safe for the speaker?
Yes. It plays only through the iPhone speaker at a reasonable volume and pauses if you connect AirPods or other headphones. Even so, don't keep the system volume at maximum for long.
Is it free?
Yes. Everything you need to eject the water and check the speaker is free. To keep it that way it shows some ads. AquaSweep Pro (optional) removes them and adds extras.
