Is it a medical device?
No. CardioPulse AI is a wellness and educational app; it is not a medical device and does not provide a diagnosis. Measurements are estimates. Always consult a healthcare professional about any concern or symptom.
How does it measure pulse with the camera?
When you rest your finger on the camera (and flash), the app detects the tiny color changes in your skin with each heartbeat to estimate your heart rate and HRV. A signal-quality meter tells you whether a reading is reliable.
What does the AI do with my data?
To generate the AI report and food analysis, the metrics and context you provide are sent to an AI model (Google Gemini) that returns a plain-language explanation. Don't share data you don't want analyzed. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Does it sync with Apple Health?
Yes. With your permission, your readings are saved to Apple Health and the app can read your health data for trends and the report. All of that lives in your private Apple account.
