WAUpdater Terms of Use
Last updated: August 15, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the WAUpdater app (the “App”), owned by Tysora — Leopoldo Pérez Ortiz. By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the App on Android devices that you own or control, under the Google Play Terms of Service.
2. Free and ad-supported
The App is free and funded by advertising. It sells no subscriptions or in-app purchases. In the European Union we ask for advertising consent through Google's form (UMP).
3. How it works
The App checks, on your device, the installed WhatsApp version and compares it with the latest available one to alert you about updates. The App does not distribute or install WhatsApp: when a new version is out, it redirects you to the official source (Google Play) so you can update it yourself. The availability and accuracy of version information may depend on third parties.
4. No affiliation with WhatsApp
WAUpdater is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc. “WhatsApp” and “Meta” are trademarks of their respective owners; they are referenced solely to describe the App's compatibility and imply no commercial relationship.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the App lawfully and personally. You must not copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the software except to the extent permitted by law, nor use the App to update or distribute unofficial or modified versions of WhatsApp.
6. Intellectual property
The App, its name, design and trademarks belong to Tysora or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. Third-party trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that version information is always available or updated instantly.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tysora shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App.
9. Changes and termination
We may update the App and these Terms. We may suspend the service if you breach these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. For any matter, write to us at hola@tysora.es.
