Crisp Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Crisp (the “App”) handles information when you use it on your iPhone or iPad. Crisp is an air-fryer calculator and recipe app; it works offline and needs no account. To keep it free, it shows ads through third-party services that may collect device identifiers, as described below.
1. Data controller
The controller for the App and this policy is Tysora — Leopoldo Pérez Ortiz, a self-employed professional (autónomo), based at Avenida Isaac Albéniz 12, 45638 Pepino (Toledo), Spain.
For any privacy matter you can reach us at hola@tysora.es.
2. What data we process
Core function: Crisp runs on your device and needs no account, name, email or location. Your favorites, chosen air-fryer brand, timers and settings are stored only on your device.
Advertising and diagnostics: to keep the App free, we show ads via third-party services that may collect device data, an advertising identifier (IDFA) and ad-interaction data. Crisp Premium subscribers see no ads.
3. Device permissions
Notifications: to alert you when cooking is done, when it's time to “shake the basket”, and for your timers. They are optional.
Live Activities: to show the active cook on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.
Crisp does not access the microphone, camera, location, your contacts or your photos.
App Tracking Transparency and consent: in the European Union we show a consent form (Google UMP) and, for personalized advertising, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, you'll see non-personalized ads.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
Crisp offers the “Crisp Premium” subscription managed by Apple (App Store / StoreKit). Tysora does not receive or store your payment details.
We use RevenueCat to manage subscription state and restore purchases: it processes a random app-user ID and your purchase status, not your name or email.
5. Third-party services and advertising
Google AdMob to display ads to non-subscribers; it may process the IDFA and ad-interaction data. Policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to collect your consent preferences (GDPR/CCPA).
RevenueCat to manage the subscription and restore purchases. Policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
Crisp Premium subscribers see no ads. We never sell your personal data.
6. Purpose and legal basis
We process the information to (a) provide the App's functionality, (b) keep it stable, (c) show and measure advertising in the free version, and (d) meet legal obligations. Personalized advertising relies on your consent (the UMP form and the ATT prompt), which you can withdraw anytime in iOS Settings.
7. Sharing and sale of data
We never sell your personal data. We share limited data with Google AdMob, Google UMP and RevenueCat strictly to provide advertising, manage consent and the subscription.
8. Retention
Your favorites, settings and timers are kept locally for as long as the App is installed; you can remove them by clearing the App's data or uninstalling it. Data processed by third-party providers is retained per their policies.
9. Your rights (GDPR)
If you reside in the European Economic Area, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection to processing, and data portability. You can change your advertising consent in iOS Settings. To exercise your rights, email hola@tysora.es. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
10. U.S. privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
Crisp does not sell your personal information. You can limit ad tracking by declining the App Tracking Transparency prompt or in iOS Settings.
11. Children
The App is not directed to children under 14 and does not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the App or the law; we'll post the current version on this page with its date. For any question, write to us at hola@tysora.es.
